Rabbit and Me in The Big Blue Sea:
“Rabbit and Me: In the Big Blue Sea” was a self-proposed project I worked on during my final year at university. It is a young audience piece that combines narrative with informational. The book would focus on the main character and how she uses her imagination to explore and learn about the world around her, in this case about the ocean. The key message/ intention behind the book would be to encourage children to do the same.
Tales of The Sea:
“Tales of The Sea” was the final self-proposed project that I completed during my time at university. It is a graphic novel aimed at ages 12-14 made up of a collection of short stories. Each story would be focused on a different mythological creature and a tale that surrounded them. For example, the mermaid and the selkie.
